Funds will benefit those needing compassionate care.

BOARDMAN — Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave., will be the setting Feb. 2 for the seventh annual Mardi Gras Party to be held as a benefit for Hospice of the Valley.

Champagne and hors d’oeuvres will be available when doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Featured throughout the evening will be a silent auction for vacation packages, gift items, game tickets, autographed memorabilia and items donated by local merchants. There will also be a Chinese auction, a 50-50 raffle, psychic readings, a Mardi Gras store, food and dance music provided by disc jockey Marc Anthony and the Dixie Landers.

The cost for the event is $65 per person, and corporate tables of eight will be available.

All proceeds from the party will benefit Hospice of the Valley and its efforts to provide comfort and compassionate care for the terminally ill and their families.
