X NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The Rev. Robert Schweitzer presided as Jayanne Christine Grgurina, 109 Samuel Drive, and Brian Kevin Silvers, 505 W. Harvey St. Struthers, were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 8 at St. Joseph the Worker Church.

After a reception at The Villa, the couple left for the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Hawaii. They live at the Samuel Drive address.

Parents of the bride are Gary and Rosemary Grgurina, 40 Links Drive, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Silvers of the Struthers address.

Adorned with platinum embroidery and Swarovski crystals, the bride’s strapless gown featured a dropped waistline and royal train.

Champagne gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Amy Clingensmith of New Castle, and the bridesmaid, Becky Grgurina of Fort Mill, S.C., the bride’s sister-in-law. Flower girl was the bride’s cousin, Kate Coppola of Lowellville.

Brad Silvers of Youngstown was best man for his brother, and groomsman was the bride’s brother, Jason Grgurina of Fort Mill. Ring bearer was Ryan Casey of Poland.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and is a pharmacist with Village Pharmacy in Bessemer, Pa. The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering technology. He is employed by General Extrusions, Youngstown.
