BOARDMAN — Courtney Schiffauer scored eight of her 12 points in the fourth quarter, during which Boardman outscored Lake 13-8 in a Federal League game at the Spartans gym. Schiffauer also grabbed 10 rebounds and had eight assists while Monica Touvelle added 13 points, including four 3-point goals, to aid the Spartans (11-5, 5-2 FL). Darryce Moore chipped in with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Katie Fiffick four steals. Brandy Gang scored 21 points, including three 3-point goals, to lead Lake (11-4, 4-3).

YOUNGSTOWN — Chaney put four girls in double-figure scoring to beat East Palestine at home. Whitli Sanders and Tiara Heard each scored 12 points to lead Chaney (4-8), while Mimi North contributed 10. In addition, Clenisha Pless had 10 rebounds and six points and Alyssa Sykes five assists and three points. Erin Reese had 12 points and seven rebounds and Kali George 11 points to lead East Palestine (4-10).

AUSTINTOWN — A 32-20 run in the second and third quarters was the big difference as Jackson (5-10, 2-5) prevailed in the Federal League contest. Rachael Toffell scored a game-high 23 points. Aimee Preiss added 15. Rachel Rouan, Kayla Hanuschak and Cassie Banfield led the Falcons with 13, 11 and 10 points respectively.

YOUNGSTOWN — Jasmine Brown led a balanced Ursuline scoring attack with nine points. Dominique Jenkins added eight points and five rebounds for the Irish (9-5), while Jaleesa Beverly finished with eight points, four rebounds and three blocks. Kaneesha Tensley also scored eight points. Lucia Petrus and Shamia Harrison had three assists each, and Petrus added three steals. Ashley Kirkpatrick led Kennedy Catholic (5-11) with 16 points and six rebounds.

WARREN — Jasmine Kirkland hit for 14 points, Jahmarra Warfield 13 and Kamela Bender 10 to lead Harding (11-5), which shot better than Pymatuning Valley. The Raiders were 25-for-56 from the field, the Lakers 16-for-55. Rose Lane made 14 points to pace Pymatuning Valley (12-3), while Kasey Landis netted nine.

STRUTHERS — Jillian Halfhill and Kate Popovec combined for 47 points to lead the Cardinals in a Metro Athletic Conference game. Halfhill made four 3-pointers and finished with 24 points, and Popovec scored 23. Bryanne Halfhill added 16 points for Canfield (12-1, 8-0 MAC). Ashley Galbraith scored 19 points and Dana Mathews tossed in 13 for Struthers (9-4, 4-4).

EAST LIVERPOOL — Brittany Tomaselli registered 21 points, including five 3-point goals, to lead East Liverpool, which outscored Niles in the final quarter, 15-5, to come from behind for the win. Cierra Moxley added 11 points and Courtney Harrison nine to aid East Liverpool (7-7, 3-5 MAC). Nina Gabrelcik had 18 points, including three 3-point baskets, to lead Niles (6-8, 2-6 MAC), while Natalie Thomas had 11.

SALEM — Alexa Williams led Howland (13-2, 9-1 MAC) with 13 points and six rebounds. Salem (8-5, 5-3) was led by Amy Scullion and Katie Scullion with 10 points each. Amy Scullion also had nine rebounds. Kelly Roelen scored nine points.

NORTH LIMA — The Raiders (14-2, 9-1 Inter Tri-County League Tier One), leading 31-19 heading into the final eight minutes, hung on as the Rams’ (1-14, 0-10) late rally fell short. Autumn Carter paced the Raiders with 14 points. Abby Schuler added 11. Heather Reinhart led the Rams with 10 points.

CORTLAND — Senior Joanna Novotny scored a career-high 42 points to lead Lakeview in a Trumbull Athletic Conference game. Novotny also had five steals, three blocks and three assists while Jessica Downs grabbed 11 rebounds for Lakeview (6-9, 4-5 TAC). Angelica Pugh tallied 15 points to lead LaBrae (8-7, 5-4 TAC) while Bayle Boggs added 10 points and Courtney Aldridge nine.

CANTON — Amanda Stiffler scored half of her team’s points to lead West Branch (8-7, 7-3) in a Northeastern Buckeye Conference game. Stiffler was 10-of-12 at the foul line. Michelle Sosnick had 10 rebounds and Emilee Zets scored nine points for the Warriors.
