Gunman takes deposit bag, woman’s car

AUSTINTOWN — Police were searching Friday night for a gunman who took a night deposit bag and a car during a carjacking outside the Key Bank on South Raccoon Road.

Police said a woman walked to the side of the bank to make a deposit and was confronted by a man brandishing a gun.

He took the deposit bag and her green Pontiac Grand Am at 8:20 p.m. The thief is described as a black man wearing dark pants and a red mask. The victim was not injured, police said.
