Howland 75, Campbell 11

HOWLAND — Howland (12-2, 9-1 Metro Athletic Conference) jumped out to a 20-2 first-quarter lead. The Tigers put four players in double figures led by Alexa Williams with 25 points, while she also had three assists and three steals. Kelly Barzak added 14 points while Allie Airhart had 11 and Megan Long 10. Airhart also added nine rebounds. Campbell (2-10, 0-6) had six points from Danielle Bell.

Struthers 50, Niles 36

STRUTHERS — After a close first quarter Struthers blew open the game by outscoring Niles 14-0 in the second quarter. Halle Minchin-Skook led the Wildcats (9-3, 4-3 MAC) with 18 points while Dana Mathews added 13 and Ashley Galbraith had 10. Niles (6-7, 2-5) was led by Nina Galbrelcik with 20 points, including four 3-point goals.

Salem 40, Poland 29

POLAND — Katie Scullion had seven of her 17 points in the first quarter and six more in the third quarter for the Quakers. Senior Michelle Benson had seven points for Poland (2-10, 1-5 MAC).

Canfield 55, East Liverpool 42

CANFIELD — Tied at the half, 20-20, Canfield outscored East Liverpool in the third quarter, 17-4, Tuesday night. Andrew Kuchmaner scored 13 points, Matt Keating 12 and John Manzoian 10 for the Cards (10-1, 6-0 MAC). Kuchmaner, Manzoian and Keating — all seniors — had eight rebounds, five assists and five steals, respectively. Of Canfield’s 39-23 advantage on the boards, the Cards grabbed 13 offensive caroms to East Liverpool’s four. Sam Kinsey’s 11 points paced East Liverpool (4-8, 1-5).
