Museum, branches schedule free days for family activities

The Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, and its branches in Salem and Howland, have scheduled a series of free family days, beginning this weekend.

Young people and their parent or adult companion can join Butler instructors at all three locations to tour the exhibitions and afterward create an art project.

The schedule is as follows:

UButler Institute, 524 Wick Ave., Youngstown: 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, March 16 and April 20.

UTrumbull branch, 9350 E. Market St., Howland: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, May 17 and July 19.

U Salem branch, 343 E. State St., Salem: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15 and May 17.
