Boardman 82, GlenOak 40

BOARDMAN — They don’t normally shoot many 3-pointers, but the Spartans let them fly Tuesday night as Boardman prevailed against Canton GlenOak, 82-40, in girls Federal League basketball. Courtney Schiffauer scored 28 points and Monica Touvelle added 23, including seven 3s. Boardman (10-5, 4-2) had 12 3-pointers with Touvelle making six in the Spartans’ 33-point third quarter. Of Boardman’s 35 attempts from 3-point range, Touvelle tried 10. Darryce Moore scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Schiffauer also had six of her team’s 34 caroms. Schiffauer also had eight of Boardman’s 25 steals and seven of the Spartans’ 14 assists. Sarah Monnot had 17 points for GlenOak, which suffered 24 turnovers. On Saturday, Uniontown Lake visits Boardman starting at 2:30.

Ledgemont 56, Yo. Christian 40

YOUNGSTOWN — Kristi Cooper scored 19 points and Sara Bell added six points and nine rebounds for YCS (3-12). Maggie Swan scored 12 points to lead three Ledgemont players in double figures.

Warren Harding 74, Beaver Local 59

LISBON — Sophomore Jasmine Kirkland had a season-high 21 points, while junior Kamela Bender added 16 and freshman Kortney Williams tacked on 14 points for the Raiders (9-5). Kirkland, a post player, also had 12 of Harding’s 36 rebounds for Harding, which had a six-game winning streak snapped by Ursuline last weekend. Macy Weber’s game-high 25 points paced Beaver Local.
