Township trustees voted Monday to use the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s office for legal advice in dealing with Wal-Mart, and to hire a firm to give the township advice with zoning matters pertaining to the giant retailer.

Trustees are hiring North Star Planning & Design of Painesville for $90 an hour. George Smerigan of North Star will attend tonight’s public meeting Wal Mart is hosting at McMahon Hall.
