CANFIELD

Jan. 7

Drug paraphernalia: A 16-year-old North Jackson girl was charged with being a delinquent child for possessing drug paraphernalia at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. She was found in possession of a multicolored pipe with marijuana residue.

Jan. 8

Drug abuse: A 44-year-old Poland man was arrested on East Main Street for possession of drug wafers.

Jan. 9

Drug abuse: An 18-year-old Warren man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Jan. 10

Drug abuse: A 19-year-old New Middletown man was arrested for possession of marijuana on East Main Street. A passenger in his vehicle was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 11

Marijuana: A 37-year-old Youngstown man was arrested after police found marijuana on him at East Main Street and the cemetery.

Jan. 12

Public indecency: A 50-year-old Canfield man was arrested for public indecency after police were called to St. Michael’s Church, 281 Glenview Road, during a Mass. Three men apprehended the naked man and had him up against a wall when police arrived and witnesses told police they saw him running through the church naked.

Jan. 7

Criminal damaging: Damage was done to the lawn at Compass West apartments.

Breaking and entering: Locks were cut from the office trailer at Re-Nu, 168 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: Services were paid for but not received worth $130 at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Truck theft: A 1996 Chevrolet S-10 was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 200 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: A woman was issued a summons for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: An Ipod and a charger were stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Jan. 8

Theft: Beer was stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: $411 was stolen from an account using an ATM at McQuaid’s, 702 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Money and an Ohio license were stolen from McDonald’s, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: $40 was stolen from a wallet at Crestwood, 25 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Bad checks: Bad checks were passed at Best Value Inn and Suites, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A 17-year-old male was caught stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $40 in currency was stolen from Pizza Hut, 1705 S. Raccoon Road.

Menacing: A female was charged with menacing at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Burglary: A PS3 game and games were taken but there were no signs of forced entry at a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Jan. 9

Attempted breaking and entering: An attempt to gain entry into the ladies restroom caused damage to the door at the 911 Memorial, 1055 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A woman was issued a summons for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A male suspect was taken to county jail on charges of theft at Wal-Mart and possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse of marijuana.

Theft: A ring was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Crabwood Drive.

Jan. 10

Burglary: The front and back door were forced open and two televisions and two cameras were stolen in the 3000 block of Monaca Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A brick was thrown through a window at Redeemer Church, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Compact discs, a CD speaker and microphone were stolen from an auto at R& R Mack, 434 Victoria Road.

Jan. 11

Theft: Ladders were stolen from a truck at a home in the 3000 block of Bryant Drive.

Telephone harassment: An unknown caller is making harassing calls to a home on North Navarre Avenue.

Burglary: Jewelry was taken from an apartment in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.

Jan. 12

Theft: A Garmin GPS unit was stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Jan. 13

Drug offense: A Niles man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at state Route 46 and Kirk Road.

Theft: A Cannon digital camera was stolen from a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 3000 block of Chaucer Lane.
