New Talbots store
to open in Boardman
BOARDMAN — Specialty retailer Talbots said Friday it will open four new stores this month, including one in Boardman. Talbots Woman will open Thursday next to the existing Talbots and Talbots Petites stores in the Presidential Square Plaza on Boardman-Poland Road. Talbots Woman stores offer clothing designed to fit a fuller figure. The Massachusetts-based chain also is opening stores in North Carolina and Florida. It has more than 1,100 stores in the U.S. and Canada.
Protect-N-Shred buys
Docu-Shred of Salem
CORTLAND — Protect-N-Shred of Cortland said it has acquired Docu-Shred Document Destruction Service of Salem. Protect-N-Shred said it will merge all of the Salem company’s customers into its operations and serve them from its Cortland office. Protect-N-Shred offers on-site and off-site shredding and a recycling program.
