Falcon Forward moves forward with $75,000 donation

AUSTINTOWN — Township trustees and the Falcon Forward campaign on Monday thanked Joe P. Lane for a $75,000 donation to the campaign. Falcon Forward is raising money for improving athletic facilities at Fitch High School.

Lane, CEO and president of Lane Funeral Homes and Lane LifeTrans ambulance service, made the donation on behalf of the Joseph O. Lane Foundation. The donation will be used for one of two new concession stands at the stadium.

Tom Mock, spokesman for the 6-month-old Falcon Forward, said the group is 60 percent of the way toward its goal of $800,000 for improvements.
