Earned Eagle Award
Nick Clegg, 18, of Sharrott Road, North Lima, son of Jeff and Katie Clegg, recently received his Eagle Scout Award at a Court of Honor in Mount Olivet Church.
He joined Troop 80 in North Lima in 1998 and his Scout Master is Rick Keshock. He has held offices of senior patrol leader, quarter master and patrol leader.
He earned 22 merit badges and received the Order of the Arrow. He attended Spring Camporee.
He is a senior at South Range High School where he is a member of National Honor Society, football, track and Key Club. He is also a member of Greenford Christian Church.
LEADERSHIP
Appointed to committee
County Auditor Michael Sciortino was recently appointed to serve on the 2008 statewide executive committee of the County Auditors’ Association of Ohio.
Columbiana County Auditor Nancy Milliken, president of the CAAO’s Northeast District, made the appointment.
The executive committee works with the Gov. Ted Strickland administration and Ohio General Assembly to monitor and suggest legislative proposals which impact lcoal taxpayers and to encourage policies with positively impact county government, says a CAAO press release.
