LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements


YOUNGSTOWN — The Home Savings and Loan Co. was honored as a co-winner of the 2007 Leo Goldberg Award. The award is presented by the HBA of Greater Cleveland to “honor the financial institution that has made great strides in the building industry for that year.” The award was given to both Home Savings and Parkview Federal Savings Bank.

AKRON — InfoCision Management Corp. said these workers from Mahoning Valley call centers were inducted into the company Hall of Fame: Austintown, Lori Farkas, Norris Lindsey, Karen Rulli, Lisa Stilgenbauer, Diane Teutsch, Shirley Thompson, Mike Tucker, Linda Ward, Sherry Warren and Brenda Weatherholt; Boardman, Terri Broadhurst, Nancy Ciccone, Barbara Glover, Dorothy Lindsay, Fallon Murray, Marcia Penwell and Martha Stein; Youngstown, Helen Baldwin, Lisa Bokesch and Mary Jane Wittway; New Castle, Pa., James Lingenfelter, Kim McClaine, Susan Oliva, Rose Padice, Judi Pizza and Eileen Rogers. Employees are inducted into the InfoCision Hall of Fame when they win Employee of the Month twice in their career.

ALLIANCE — Alliance Community Hospital’s main laboratory was awarded an accreditation by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists. The hospital originally received CAP accreditation about 20 years ago and has been granted renewals for each ensuing year.

YOUNGSTOWN — CMC Impact Metals, formerly known as Allegheny Heat Treating, received ISO-9001 registration for its Youngstown plant. The facility had no findings at its registration audit which was conducted by SRI Quality System Registrar.

BOARDMAN — Tod Crowe has qualified for Vector Security’s President’s Club for the 17th straight year. He works in the Boardman office. He also qualified for the President’s Inner Circle for the eighth time. The Inner Circle is reserved for the top sales representatives nationwide.
