Family and friends help Dorseys mark their 25th wedding anniversary

X BOARDMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Dorsey, 401 Rockdale Ave., No. 65, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Nov. 3.

Family and friends hosted the celebration at Boardman Park Community Center, for which invitations were extended. The couple renewed their vows, and Pastor Howard Seidel officiated.

The former Roberta DeOnofrio married Mr. Dorsey Nov. 6, 1982, at Calvary Assembly of God.

The couple are professional musicians. They belong to Calvary Assembly and have ministered in various churches and organizations in the region.

Mrs. Dorsey is a part-time caregiver for Home Instead of Boardman and had worked at Phar-Mor Corp. offices for 10 years. She belongs to Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club.

Mr. Dorsey works as a substitute teacher in Youngstown city schools. He belongs to Phi Mu Alpha, a men’s music fraternity; Promise Keepers (Men of Faith); OPM, a jail ministry; and Way Out Ministries, where he is on the board of directors.
