LEAVITTSBURG — Bryan Watkins had 24 points while Cameron Truss added 13 for LaBrae, which scored 36 second-half point to eke out the win. The Vikings (3-7, 2-2 TAC) made 21 of 58 goals and 13 of 25 free throws while Liberty was successful on 23 of 44 from the field and 5 of 11 at the line. Steve Woodyard had 10 of LaBrae’s 35 caroms and Woodyard also dished out five assists. Isaiah Bell’s 22 points paced the Leopards (2-8, 1-3). Jamon Wagner had eight of Liberty’s 35 rebounds while Josh Purdie registered five assists.˙
Lakeview 71, Brookfield 32
CORLTAND — Lakeview took a sizable lead early and expanded on it en route to victory behind balanced scoring. Junior Ethan Metheny had 11 points, while juniors Justin Clark and Robert Franks and senior Jon Kittle had 10 apiece for the Bulldogs (6-4, 3-1) in their first meeting of the season against the TAC opponent. Kittle also had 10 assists, while Mike Graham, a junior, grabbed seven of Lakeview’s 39 rebounds. The Bulldogs made 32 of 73 goals, while Brookfield hit 12 of 38. Ryan Shugarts had nine points for the visitors, who had 22 rebounds.
Hubbard 57, Girard 43
HUBBARD — Robert Wigfall scored 20 points to lead the Eagles (7-3, 3-1). Bobby Thompson scored 11 points while Kurtis Drummond had 10. For the Indians (1-9, 1-3), Adam Charles led in scoring with 13 points. Marty Brinker had nine.
