Canfield hockey team loses 2-1

BOARDMAN — Will Wilson scored with just over two minutes remaining in the game to give Orange High a 2-1 win over Canfield in a hockey game at the Ice Zone Friday.

Tyler Buchenic gave Canfield a 1-0 lead on assists from Greg Firestone and Chad Fischer.

Brent Lieberman tied the score for Orange (6-6, 5-3 Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League).

Canfield (4-10-1, 0-7) plays Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin in Mentor today, then plays host to Brooklyn at the Ice Zone at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Canfield will honor alumni players and coaches between periods of Sunday’s contest.
