UMCC Family fitness program


Free programs that will be offered at the United Methodist Community Center, Warren:

Hit-hop acrobatics: Age 10 and older, 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays. Choreographed hip-hop dance routines with an aerobic twist.

Karate: Ages 7 to 17, 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

Cardio mix aerobics: Age 18 and older, 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays. Revitalizing aerobic sessions to lose holiday pounds and feel better.

Cheerleading minicamp: Ages 7 to 17, starts in March.

Line dancing: Age 18 and older, 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays.

One step at a time: Age 18 and older, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Low-impact walking program.

Nutrition education: For youth and adults, 4 to 5 p.m. second Tuesday of the month. Learn about healthful eating habits.

Smoking cessation: Age 18 and older, 4 to 5 p.m. Mondays. Effective methods and information to support a decision to quite smoking.

Yoga: Age 16 and older, 2 to 3 p.m. Fridays.
