Lisbon 66, Springfield 58

LISBON — Blue Devils senior Emily Smith set a school record by making nine 3-point goals. Smith finished with 35 points for Lisbon (11-2, 6-2 Inter Tri-County League Tier One). Mindy Jackson added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Blue Devils. Rachel Kennedy had 16 points for the Tigers (4-10, 2-6) while Ashley Davis added 13. Kennedy also had eight rebounds.

United 63, Columbiana 42

HANOVERTON — Maggie Miller scored 19 points while Maggie Sell added 17 points and five steals for United (9-3, 6-2 ITCL Tier One), which took a 42-15 halftime lead. Courtney Baker added 10 points. For the Clippers (6-8. 4-4), Katie Douglas had 12 points and 10 rebounds while Katie Witmer added 12 points and nine rebounds.

East Palestine 34, Mineral Ridge 31

MINERAL RIDGE — The Bulldogs (3-7, 1-6), behind 16-7 at halftime, made only 3-of-27 shots. The Rams came out in the third quarter and increased that lead to 20-7, but East Palestine battled back to cut the deficit to 23-22 heading into the final eight minutes of action. Bre Hull, who finished with eight points, put the Bulldogs ahead to stay 28-27 with three minutes, 48 seconds remaining and East Palestine connected on 4-of-7 free throws down the stretch to secure the victory. Erin Reese also scored eight points for the Bulldogs and she grabbed 10 of 30 rebounds and had three assists. Heather Reinhart sparked the Rams (1-11, 0-7) with 14 points.

Leetonia 39, Sebring 35

LEETONIA — Leetonia had to hold off a late rally to get past Sebring. The Bears, deadlocked 19-19 at halftime, pulled to a 29-25 lead after three quarters and then played the Trojans even over the final eight minutes. Sarah Weikart and Lynsie Davis each scored eight points to lead Leetonia (10-3, 7-1 ITCL Tier Two) while Julia Grimsley led Sebring (7-5, 3-4) with 14 points.

McDonald 77, Jackson-Milton 47

NORTH JACKSON — Ari-Anna Williams scored 22 points to help keep the Blue Devils (11-1, 6-1 ITCL Tier Two) right behind first-place Leetonia. Emily Dolsak scored 18 points while Joey Courtney had 11 and Lindsay Repp had 10. For the Bluejays (2-10, 1-6), Jillian Adams scored 13 points and Alyssa Chine has 12. Alley Wiseman had nine rebounds and three steals.

Lowellville 51, Southern 29

LOWELLVILLE — Ali Grapevine struggled with foul trouble in the first half, then exploded for 18 points in the third quarter as the Rockets outscored the Indians 20-6. Grapevine finished with 23 points and eight rebounds for Lowellville (7-6, 6-1), while Whitney Palumbo added six points and seven assists. Emily Smith had nine points to lead Southern (1-12, 0-8).

Western Reserve 53, Wellsville 41

BERLIN CENTER — Senior Ellie Sanders scored 13 points, sophomore guard Matti Shahaden had 12 points and sophomore Claire Ferrando added 10. Western Reserve sank 15 of 20 free throws with Sanders making seven of nine, including six of six in the fourth quarter. Jess Keeler grabbed eight of the Blue Devils’ 27 rebounds. The Blue Devils won at Wellsville earlier this season, 56-49. Brittany Dissell had 16 points, while Marie Keller had 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks for Wellsville.
