• Holborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Canfield Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fairgrounds. John Beilhart will present “Bee With Us,” a program about honeybees. Hostesses will be Sue Kasmer, Bunny Pavlov, Connie Bilas, Carole Marten-Dow and Kim Cerimele.
LIBRARY FRIENDS
• Friends of Boardman Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Boardman Library meeting room for a social, followed by a program at 10 a.m. Dr. Brian Bonhomme will speak about “Russia Today.” Guests are welcome, and no reservations are necessary. Hostesses will be Bette Dunn, Marge Crishi, Jan Harper, Mary Jane Stevens and Erma Tarantino. Books and tapes for the book cart are collected from 10 a.m. to noon the first and third Saturdays of each month. The next collection is Jan. 19. Proceeds from the sales support library reading programs.

• S.O.A.R. of Lordstown, a monthly support group for anyone in the community who is providing care for a loved one, will hold its first monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lordstown Lutheran Church, 5615 Palmyra Road S.W., Lordstown. Topics for the January and February meetings include caregiver stress and caring or someone with dementia at home, suggestions for making your home safe and learning about the progression of the disease.
