Dr. Sweet and his wife returned to their home late on the afternoon of Dec. 28, after being out of state for a week visiting family. There were two bullet holes in the first floor den window with a bullet lodged in the wall over the sofa, and two bullets outside that had hit the front stonework framing the den and front stairway windows.
