WARREN — Warren Steel Holdings said its vacuum tank degasser is fully operational. The operation allows the plant to remove excess gasses from molten steel, which improves quality. This is the last major piece of equipment to be commissioned by the new steelmaker, which is operating in the former CSC Ltd. mill. Warren Steel produces semifinished round bars and employs just under 100.

Ribbon-cutting planned
at new Paolone office

BOARDMAN — Dr. Vincent Paolone will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at his new office at 7010 South Ave., Suite 7. Dr. Paolone, a Boardman native, recently moved from hospital work to outpatient private practice. He had been with St. Elizabeth Health Center since 1998. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Ohio State University.
