X NEW SPRINGFIELD — Amanda Holt, a daughter of Jack Holt, 2420 Columbiana Road, and Deborah and Greg Thompson, 273 W. Hopewell Drive, Struthers, and Matthew Beda, a son of Will and Nancy Beda, 210 Scotland Ave., Boardman, were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 22 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Paul Stork officiated, and a reception was held afterward at Fonderlac Country Club. The couple live at 8270 Southern Blvd., Boardman.

The bride wore a strapless gown of red-wine taffeta fashioned with a corset-style bodice adorned with crystals and pearls.

Ivory gowns with black sashes were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Ashley Holt of Struthers, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Holt of New Springfield, her sister-in-law, and Emily Saare of Red Lion, Pa., her cousin. Flower girls were the bride’s niece, Brianna Holt of New Springfield, and the groom’s niece, Lenci Boehme of McKees Rocks, Pa.

Ryan Depp of Boardman was best man, and groomsmen were the groom’s brothers, Brad and Ryan Beda, both of Boardman. The bride’s niece, Alyssa Holt of New Springfield, was ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in dietetics. She works in nutrition services at St. Elizabeth Hospital and is a cashier with J.C. Penney, both in Boardman. The groom, a Web designer with Sweeney and Associates in Boardman, is attending Kent State University.
