Felonious assault: A 35-year-old South Avenue man was arrested at his residence and charged after a woman suffered a cut from her hand she said was from a knife, and had several scratches.
Breaking and entering: A Youngstown man, 20, surrendered to police and faced a charge after an August break-in at Thomas Manufacturing Inc., 696 McClurg Road.
Criminal damaging: A Hopkins Road man reported someone punched and damaged his grandfather’s vehicle’s windshield.
Attempted theft: A Fox Run Court man found out someone tried via the Internet to withdraw more than $200 from his checking account.
Burglary: A Brainard Drive man saw that someone forced open a rear door to his home before taking three firearms.
Theft: A motorist left a Shell True North station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying for $30 worth of gasoline.
Auto theft: A 2001 Chevrolet Lumina was stolen from JD Byrider, 6534 Market St.
Burglary: Someone entered a vacant Tudor Lane residence and removed copper piping.
Theft: A theft was reported at a residence in the 1800 block of Alverne Drive.
Theft by deception: A 33-year-old Canfield woman faced one felony count of theft by deception after an employee for Fye in the Southern Park Mall told police $1,177 worth of merchandise that did not belong to the store was returned for cash.
Theft: A worker for McDonald’s, 1110 Boardman-Poland Road, noticed an undisclosed amount of money missing from a register.
Weapons: A Boardman man, 41, was arrested during a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard and charged with carrying concealed weapons. Two knives, a baseball bat and a device similar to a night stick were found in the car, police said.
Drug paraphernalia: After pulling over a 39-year-old Columbus man near Southern Boulevard and Maple Drive, officers charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia. They said he had a suspected crack pipe and a bag with suspected drug residue.

Breaking and entering: A door to a vacant Meadowbrook Avenue home was kicked in and copper was stolen.
Theft: Police charged a Youngstown man, 21, accused of taking a $30 memory card from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Aggravated menacing: A Youngstown man reported threats against his wife were made at the Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the 6900 block of Southern Boulevard and took a pair of men’s shoes and a credit card.
Burglary: A 42-inch TV and a DVD player were removed after someone opened an unlocked rear window and entered a residence in the 5300 block of Southern Boulevard.
Breaking and entering: A 19-year-old Pennsylvania man was booked at the Mahoning County Jail on two counts of breaking and entering related to a pair of November crimes. He was accused of breaking into Agnew Farm Equipment, 7700 Market St., and Pennsylvania Tool Sales & Service Inc., 625 Bev Road.
Possible burglary: A Rockdale Avenue woman reported 17 Vicodin tablets missing and suspected a break-in had occurred. Police said, however, they found no signs of forced entry.
Burglary: A Hopkins Road woman told officers a man knocked and entered her home uninvited, claiming her son sent him to repair her porch. After pressuring the woman, she gave him $42, the report said.

Theft: Authorities picked up an 18-year-old Petersburg man near South Avenue and Western Reserve Road and charged him after 15 video games had been taken from Wal-Mart. Nine were returned.
Aggravated menacing: Canfield police held a Canfield man, 50, wanted on an aggravated-menacing charge. The man’s former girlfriend alleged he threatened her life over the phone while she was at a Tiffany Boulevard business.
Theft: Police arrested a 44-year-old Boardman woman on a theft charge after $39.40 worth of undergarments were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: Five pairs of jeans and other clothing were stolen from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall, costing the store $510.
Arrest: A Boardman man, 45, was taken into custody in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with probation violation.
Theft: Ten DVDs were stolen from Sam’s Club, 6361 South Ave.
Citation: A 26-year-old Girard man was stopped on Market Street and cited on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Theft: A woman stole several packs of razors from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 307 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrests: A traffic stop on Glenwood Avenue resulted in the arrests of two Youngstown men, 46 and 50. One faced two counts of theft; the other was wanted on a warrant charging him with obstructing official business, and faced separate charges of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Robbery: A Boardman man, 25, was charged with the crime after an employee for a Get Go gas station, 480 Boardman-Canfield Road, told police he pushed her, tried to grab money from a register and fled. A witness tackled the suspect and held him for authorities, the report showed.
Attempted burglary: Someone tried to kick a rear door and enter a Ridgewood Drive residence.
Breaking and entering: Someone forcibly removed a section of paneling on an overhead garage door before entering The Lube Stop, 250 Boardman-Canfield Road, and taking 20 vehicle belts.
Assault: A Hillman Way woman was not injured after being assaulted at her residence.
Criminal damaging: A worker with a Boardman-Canfield Road restaurant found a broken driver’s-side window to his car, resulting in a $250 damage estimate.
Theft: A $141 cell phone was taken from a Southern Park Mall store.
Theft: Two people reported the theft of power tools and a 32-piece wrench set while at a Shields Road residence.
