Teen-age boys demand money from homeowner

YOUNGSTOWN — Two teen-age boys wearing ski masks entered a Hermosa Avenue home through an unlocked door and demanded money from the 92-year-old resident around 4 p.m. Monday, police said. The homeowner was sitting in the kitchen with a woman friend when the boys, likely 16 or 17 years old, entered. When the victim told the intruders he had no money one of the boys grabbed the woman’s purse and cell phone. The suspects fled when the homeowner told them he was going to get his gun. As the boys ran out the door, the woman grabbed back her purse and phone.
