Game notes: Bossier-Shreveport (20-7-3) is in first place in the Northeast Division. Youngstown (20-8-2) is in second place, one point behind. The Mudbugs have won three of the five games played against the SteelHounds this season, including the last three. Daniel Pegoraro leads the Mudbugs with 27 points (7 goals, 20 assists) and Brett Smith has 26 (9-17). Chris Brassard is the team’s top goal-scorer with 12. Goalie John DeCaro is 12-4-2 with 1 .87 goals against average and .936 save percentage. Peter Pohl and Eric Przepiorka lead the SteelHounds with 15 goals each; Pohl is also second on the team with 22 assists. He has four goals and five assists in his last five games. Chris Richards leads with 23 assists and has 399 in his CHL career. Roberts’ next assist will make him the ninth player in league history with 400. He is also seven goals away from becoming the 14th player in CHL history to score 200, and is eight points short of 600 for his league career.
