Kids throw bricks at woman’s car on North Side

YOUNGSTOWN — At least eight boys and one girl threw bricks at a Liberty woman’s 2005 Chrysler Sebring as she drove on Logan Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

Most of the bricks hit the car’s right side, leaving dents, scratches and paint damage, police said. The hood was also dented and the right headlight broken.

The 53-year-old woman said the juveniles ran out from Dennick Avenue to throw the bricks and then fled back toward Dennick. The woman drove to police headquarters downtown to report what happened.
