State Route 154 in Elkrun will be down to one lane

ELKRUN — The Ohio Department of Transportation District 11 will begin work Jan. 14 to replace a bridge on state Route 154 in Elkrun Township in Columbiana County. A section of state Route 154 just east of state Route 11 will be reduced to one lane. Traffic will be maintained using temporary traffic signals.

ODOT’s contractor is Jet Excavating Company from New Middletown, and the completion date is June 30.

The project is part of a $1.2 million package that included the replacement of another structure located near Pine Hollow Road just north of Elkton last year.
