YOUNGSTOWN — The Regional Chamber board of directors named these new board members for 2008: Bonnie Deutsch Burdman, director of the Jewish Community Relations Council at the Jewish Community Center; Florence Wang, president of W&K International Trading Co.; Allen Ryan, director of corporate affairs at Panera Bread/Covelli Enterprises; David Smith, general manager of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers; Steve Sava, president of PTNE Telephone & Data Systems; and Diane Sauer, owner of Diane Sauer Chevrolet.

The board officers for 2008 are: chairman, Frank Hierro, regional president at Huntington Bank; past chairman, Thomas Fleming, president of AIM Nationalease; vice chairman, Timothy Rupert, retired president of RTI International Metals; vice chairman, Anthony Cafaro Jr., vice president of The Cafaro Co.; treasurer, Walter Pishkur, president of Aqua Ohio.

Directors reappointed to new terms are: Cafaro; Pete Asimakopoulos, regional president/chief executive of First National Bank; Debra D’Alesio, president of Valley Industrial Trucks; Jeff Elser, vice president of external affairs for FirstEnergy; and Garry Mrozek, area president of National City Bank.
