St. Michael Garden Guild seats officers at dinner

CANFIELD — Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park was the setting when St. Michael Garden Guild installed officers for 2008 during a Christmas dinner meeting.

Barbara Spenser conducted the candlelight ceremony as Carol Cartwright was installed as president of the organization. Inducted as her associate officers were Marlene Ditchey, vice president; Doe Gallagher, secretary; Pat Hoyle, treasurer; Liz Rehlinger, historian; and Ruth Molvin, press secretary.

Named as heads of various committees were Ditchey and Cartwright, program; Marjorie Yerman, membership; Jeri Bertison and Yerman, telephone; and Cookie Beeman, Molvin and Sharon Mangapora, garden planting.
