PRESIDENTIAL DELEGATES
PRESIDENTIAL DELEGATES
Who was selected
Below are the names of those selected in Democratic presidential caucuses in the 17th and 6th Congressional Districts to serve as delegates at the party’s national convention should their candidate obtain enough support in the March 4 primary. The 17th District, which includes portions of Mahoning and Trumbull counties, was allotted three males and four females as well as one male alternate as convention delegates. The 6th, which includes all of Columbiana and a portion of Mahoning counties, was allotted three males and two females as well as one female alternate as delegates. Some candidates failed to get enough people for those positions. The listing is in order of finish. Republican presidential candidates select up to three delegates and three alternates for each congressional district. The list for most of the 17th District Republican delegates is below. The list for the 6th District hasn’t been finalized.
