Leaders: Owners Kelly Bucci of Pittsburgh and Jennifer Wexler of Canfield.

Established: February 2007.

Product: Software that helps hospitals manage charges to patients as well as capture incorrect bills.

Based: Canfield and Pittsburgh.

Plans: “We envision Eris as growing significantly. We are certainly going to be hiring employees and a support staff. We’d like to establish businesses within the Pittsburgh and Cleveland corridor,” Wexler said.

Leader: Anne Behner of Akron, president.

Established: 1998.

Product: Landscaping design software for landscape professionals, independent contractors, lawn service businesses and gardeners.

Based: Founded in New Jersey but has been in Akron for the past seven years.

Plans: “What we’re trying to achieve is to provide a service for the landscape professionals so that they can come up as leaders in their own industry,” Behner said.
