“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday, WFMJ-TV 21; and 7 p.m. Wednesday on Time Warner Cable channel 15 in Trumbull County): Martin Luther King Day is the topic of this week’s show.
Host Madonna Chism Pinkard will interview Rabbi Joel Berman, Rev. Lewis Macklin II and Arnold Wagner of the MLK Planning Committee to discuss the collaboration of the MLK Celebration Choir and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra in presenting “A Spiritual Journey.”
Also on the program will be keyboardist Jim Couchenour of jazz-fusion band SounDoctrine. Couchenour has released a new CD, “Quiet Canvas.”
