dreams come true
POLAND — Members of the Curves Fitness Center in Poland participated in a Christmas tree ornament project that will make it possible for the Rich Center for Autism to purchase special learning toys for its lending library.
The tree was decorated with snowmen ornaments, each holding a picture of a toy the center could only dream of owning. Those attending the fitness center selected an ornament from the tree and donated funds to purchase the item pictured on each.
Other community projects conducted by the Curves center in 2007 were a blood drive for the Rescue Mission in March, a tent sale for the Mission of Love in June and a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness in October.
