YSU to unveil large financial gift

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University will unveil the third largest financial gift in its history at 1 p.m. Friday.

The seven-figure gift will go into the university’s $43 million Centennial Capital Campaign and will be used to pay for scholarships for a select group of students.

YSU’s largest gifts have been $5 million from the family of the late Warren P. Williamson Jr. and $4 million from Tony and Mary Lariccia, all of which went into the capital campaign and designated for the new $34 million Williamson College of Business Administration building.
