Stop smoking session set Saturday in Alliance

ALLIANCE — Alliance Community Hospital is offering “Fresh Start,” a free, four-week smoking cessation program beginning Saturday.

The class, open to the public, will be on four consecutive Saturdays from 10 to 11 a.m. in Conference Room 2-B on the hospital’s second floor. Everyone who registers receive free nicotine patches, to aid them in their efforts.

The free classes and patches are made possible through a grant from the American Cancer Society.
