Seven killed across Ohio in traffic crashes

The Ohio State Highway Patrol in Columbus reported that seven people were killed in three crashes over the New Year’s holiday period that ran from 6 p.m. Dec. 28 through 11:59 p.m. Jan. 1. There were eight people killed in crashes during the same holiday period the previous year, the patrol said.
