Garden Club plans trip to flower show

HOWLAND — The Green Thumb Garden Club of Howland will sponsor a motor coach trip March 3 to 6 to the Philadelphia Flower Show.

In addition to attending one of the largest flower shows in the world, guests will visit Longwood Gardens and the Dupont Home, where dinner will be in the gardens; visit historic sites and museums in Philadelphia with dinner at the City Tavern; and shop in the area with dinner at the Oakhurst Tea Room. The tour includes three breakfasts, three dinners, all admissions, rooms at the Holiday Inn, and an escort. The cost is $589 per person, and a $200 deposit is required.
