THURSDAY
• Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Road, Poland, will have take-out dinners of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans available from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). The cost is $6. No need to pre-order or get out of the car.
FRIDAY
• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; and bread and butter, coffee or tea. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
• St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m. Friday.
• Potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Cost is $4 a dozen. Frozen pirogi will also be sold while supplies last. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.
• The Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Avenue N.W., will hold an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal includes ocean perch, home fries, coleslaw, bread and butter, dessert and beverage. SATURDAY
• Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will serve Swiss steak dinners from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Meals include mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, bread, beverage and homemade dessert. Takeouts will be available. The cost is $7.50 for adults, $4 for children 5-12, and free for those 4 and under. The church is handicap accessible.
SUNDAY
• American Legion Post 751, 3145 Warren Burton Road, Southington, is sponsoring a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations are $5.50 for adults and $3 for children under 12; children 4 and under eat free. Pancakes and sausage, or biscuits and gravy will be served.
• The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve breakfasts of eggs, sausage or ham, hash browns, pancakes, freedom toast, toast, and coffee or tea from 8 a.m. to noon. Meals are $4 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
• A breakfast brunch at St. James the Apostle Church, Route 422 West, New Bedford, Pa., will be served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church social hall by the men’s group. The buffet will include French toast and pancakes with fruit and maple syrups, sausage, bacon, home fries, ham, scrambled eggs, eggs with peppers, onions and cheese, toast, rolls, juice and coffee. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. Call (724) 964-8276.
• VFW 3332 Ladies Auxiliary of Newton Falls will serve a buffet breakfast from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the post home 433 Arlington Road. Cost is $6.50 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for children 12 and under.
