Couple stabbed in Warren

WARREN – One person remains hospitalized and another released after treatment as a result of their being stabbed New Year’s Eve

Boyd J. Proper, 39, remains in serious condition in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, while Kari Lynne Thomas, 21, has been released. Police were called to their home at 1936 Norwood St. N.W. about 10:45 p.m. Both of them were found in a bedroom trying to slow bleeding. According to the police report, they were able to identify the man who stabbed them, though no motive was given.
