15-year-old stabbed in eye

YOUNGSTOWN — A 15-year-old Stewart Avenue boy told police an unknown object was used to stab him in the left eye when a group of boys attacked him as he was walking home around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday. An ambulance crew advised that he go to the hospital for treatment but he refused and his mother signed a release form, police said. Police have a suspect in the stabbing but no arrests were made as of Wednesday.
