Sobriety checkpoint planned

Barring inclement weather, a sobriety checkpoint will be held in Mahoning County from 10 p.m. today until 2 a.m. Saturday. The mission of the Mahoning County Operating Vehicle Impaired Task Force is to keep roadways safe by reducing alcohol and drug related crashes through public awareness and enforcement. If the checkpoint is canceled tonight it will be rescheduled for March 7.
