EARLY RETIREMENT YSU employees

An early retirement incentive program at Youngstown State University will provide significant annual base salary savings reached by replacing people at the top of the salary scale with new people at the lower end of the salary scale.

Employees taking the incentive: 133.

Base salary savings 2007: $1,153,405.

Base salary savings 2008: $1,455,572.

Total annual base salary savings: $2,608,977.
