Boil order issued for water users in parts of Canfield

CANFIELD — A precautionary boil order for Callahan Road, Neff Drive, Neff Court, Skyline Drive, Montgomery Drive, Canterbury Court, Talsman Drive, Village Boulevard, and Winona Avenue will be in effect until 5 p.m. Saturday.

The city experienced a waterline break on Neff Drive at 1:30 p.m. today, which reduced water pressure for about an hour. As a precautionary measure, water for drinking, cooking and oral hygiene should be boiled for at least one minute before use.

The city has no evidence that the water system was contaminated.
