Benefit dinner for Columbiana pound

LISBON — A Voice for Columbiana County Dogs, a volunteer group, will have a benefit dinner for the pound on Saturday at the Lisbon Eagles, 127 E. Chestnut St.

All proceeds will go to help renovate the pound, according to county Dog Warden Dawn McVay.

The rigatoni with chicken dinner is at 5 p.m. Carryout orders are available at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 a person and $5 for children. Checks should be made out to “A Voice for Columbiana County Dogs.”

There will be music and an auction.

McVay said the group hopes to raise $12,000 in order to create outdoor runways for dogs.
