YOUNGSTOWN — LeShawn Tucker’s debut album, “Stuck In Love,” featuring J-Doose and Charlette, is now available at www.cdbaby.com, and the download Web site tradebit.com.

seeks cast for ‘Butterfly’

YOUNGSTOWN — Opera Western Reserve, a professional opera company, is casting its fall production of Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” (in Italian). Susan Davenny Wyner is music director and David Vosburgh is stage director. Rehearsals will begin in mid-October. The performance will be Nov. 7 in Stambaugh Auditorium. “Madama Butterfly” will be fully staged with an orchestra.

All roles are open and all ethnicities are encouraged to apply. Also, singers interested in OWR’s future productions of “Il Barbiere di Siviglia,” “Carmen,” “Tosca” and “Don Giovanni” can audition. OWR is particularly interested in mezzos, tenors and singers it has not heard before. Please be prepared to sing an aria each in Italian, French and English.

Nature photo exhibit
opens at Mill Creek Park

YOUNGSTOWN — The 33rd annual Nature Photography Exhibit opens Saturday and runs through March 30 at the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park.

The exhibition features hundreds of entries in several categories: wild animals, wild plants, wild scenes, cultivated plants, people in parks, Mill Creek MetroParks scenes, black and white digital images, nostalgia, and young photographers.
