Warren cops seize cash and drugs

WARREN – Police seized almost $1,500 cash during a Tuesday morning drug raid at 1566 Belvedere Ave. S.E. No arrests were made.

Lt. Thomas Skoczylas, commander of the police departments narcotics unit, said that besides the cash, agents seized crack cocaine, marijuana and several different prescriptions drugs after the two-month investigation. There was also evidence that crack was being manufactured at the residence, Skoczylas said. In the house at the time was a man, his sister and her three children.
