Davis Elementary meeting rescheduled

AUSTINTOWN — The parent meeting set for 6:30 p.m. tonight at Davis Elementary on Maple Avenue has been rescheduled for March 3 because of school being canceled in the Austintown Local School District.

Kathleen Bache, a member of the school’s parent teacher organization, called the meeting to discuss Superintendent Doug Heuer’s recommendation to the school board that Davis Elementary be closed at the end of the current school year.
