Food bank's advice on how to help or get help


The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank serves 11 counties, including Lawrence, in southwestern Pennsylvania.

If you represent a group that can help your community with a food drive, call the food bank at (412) 460-3663, Ext. 209. Ask for Patty, the food drive coordinator, who will provide you with a how-to kit and offer suggestions on where to donate goods in your area.
If you need help, you can be put in touch with one of 26 locations throughout the county that’s nearest to you. To find out the location that can serve you, call one of three agencies:

Do you qualify for aid? The requirement is an income of $15,315 a year for a single person. Add $5,220 for each additional person in your family.
