St. Pat’s posies for raising of the green

POLAND — Eastern Regional Kidney Foundation, 45 Edgewater Drive, will be selling fresh green carnations for St. Patrick’s Day. Proceeds from the sale will benefit local victims of kidney disease with expensive prescription drugs and transportation costs to and from dialysis center.

Carnations will be $15 per dozen, and each prepaid order will be delivered free of charge in the tri-county area by foundation volunteers on March 14. The cost will be $12 per dozen for orders of six or more dozen. Orders will be accepted through Friday at (330) 757-4273.

The volunteer foundation works to raise funds to educate the community and to promote research of kidney disease. The foundation receives no government funding, and all proceeds from fundraisers directly assist patients in the local area.
