VILLA MARIA, Pa. — Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will offer a jewelry workshop, “Be Charmed Bracelet,” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 12 and 26 at its community center.

Instructor will be Marcie Applegate, a jewelry artist who exhibits and sells silver and glass jewelry at local shops, galleries and exhibitions.

The first class will instruct participants to create unique charms with a new “friendly” metal clay material. The second session will use basic wire techniques to adorn a sterling silver link chain with charms, beads, and stones to create a personalized bracelet. Techniques to be used are suggested for ages 16 and older.

The cost is $55 per person and includes program materials and firing. Bring a friend and pay $50. Registration is required by March 1. Call
